BUILT-IN ODOR NEUTRALIZING TECHNOLOGY

Our fragrances do more than add a pleasant scent.

We formulate odor-neutralizing technology directly into our fragrances using Metazene®—so the air-care program can counter airborne malodor molecules while delivering the fragrance selected for the space.

That matters in places where a residual odor can linger even after the source, airflow, and filtration have been addressed. Metazene is designed for vapor-phase use and is commonly incorporated into air-care products. As fragrance disperses, the neutralizing ingredient works alongside it instead of asking a stronger perfume to cover the problem.

Built-in neutralization is the finishing layer—not a substitute for source removal, cleaning, ventilation, or filtration. Metazene® is a registered trademark of Pestco, Inc. and is used here to identify the odor-neutralizing additive incorporated into our fragrance formulations.

Are scenting and odor control the same job?

They serve different purposes. Scenting is designed to create a particular atmosphere, while odor control is focused on unwanted malodor. In our odor-control programs, odor-neutralizing technology and fragrance are delivered together, so the space is both treated for malodor and left with an intentional fragrance. We think it’s the best of both worlds.

What is the right order for solving a commercial odor problem?

Start by identifying the odor source and addressing cleaning, airflow, ventilation, or filtration issues where needed. In areas that still require treatment, our odor-control program uses fragrance together with odor-neutralizing technology rather than as a separate second step.

How can we tell neutralization from masking?

One practical check is to spend time in the treated space after the initial fragrance impression has faded. If the underlying malodor quickly becomes noticeable again, the source or the treatment strategy may need more attention. Masking puts a stronger smell on top of a weaker one; neutralization is intended to reduce the odor itself. Effective odor control starts with identifying and addressing the source, then airflow, cleaning, ventilation, and filtration, and uses neutralization where appropriate.
